10 Actors Who Will Ruin 2019 Films

2. James Corden - Superintelligence

Despite once being a pretty darn enjoyable comedic actor, since he became a talk-show host James Corden has essentially become entirely defined by his media persona. Consequently, everything he shows up in now appears to be stunt casting even if it's not, with his appearances often sticking out like a sore thumb.

Perhaps most egregious was the actor turning up in the final 30 minutes of Ocean's 8 as a shoehorned-in character that essentially acted as a distraction during the last act. If that wasn't bad enough, though, the actor is also set to turn up in next year's Melissa McCarthy vehicle, Superintelligence.

About a woman who's invited to be observed by the world's first man-made superintelligence, Corden is set to lend his voice to the titular A.I. With that in mind, you might think "well, it's only a voice role so it might not be that bad", but if you do you clearly haven't seen Peter Rabbit.

At this point James Corden seemingly only plays himself, not matter the role, and that's something you'll be reminded of during each one of his scenes in his next movie.
