10 Actors Who Won't Be Coming Back For Upcoming Sequels

1. T.J. Miller - Deadpool 3

Deadpool 2 Weasel
Fox

T.J. Miller played Deadpool's (Ryan Reynolds) best pal Weasel in the first two Deadpool movies, and though his role was hardly substantial in either film, he at least rattled off some killer one-liners and did a great job with the character's knack for crude, hilariously specific descriptions.

Following the litany of legal issues facing Miller as of late - namely sexual assault allegations and drunkenly calling in a bomb scare on an Amtrak train earlier this year - Ryan Reynolds confirmed that Miller would not be appearing in the third Deadpool movie, tentatively titled X-Force.

What It Means For The Film:

It's a shame in the sense that Miller's performance in both previous movies was pretty damn hysterical, but given the PR calamity involved in keeping him on-board and the fact he faces five years in jail for the bomb scare, it's understandable that he's being written out.

At least with this being a Deadpool movie, there's potential for it to make light of Weasel's absence, either with some meta lines of dialogue, having him die an excessive, CGI-assisted death, or even just recasting him with Christopher Plummer or something (though Deadpool 2 already alluded to this by having "Christopher Plummer turns down role in Deadpool 2" appear briefly on a news ticker).

Deadpool 3 will be fine without him, but the whole thing's a sorry, disappointing situation.
