6. Djimon Hounsou As Anyone
Initially I was going to say Djimon Hounsou would make an excellent Falcon, making him the first black superhero in the franchise (unless we count War Machine who was technically a sidekick). But Anthony Mackie already got that role in the forthcoming Captain America sequel. I also dont know if Hounsou would be willing to take a part in the MCU since hes never been in such light entertainment before. Nonetheless, the guy is a damn fine actor. He does intensity and he does it well. He may be a little bit difficult to pitch since he hasnt really given us any reason to believe hed have the comic sensibility to carry a Marvel character. But, then again, maybe thats what the MCU needs. A hero who is dark and brooding and serious all the way through. Which hero Hounsou could play, I have no idea. I dont think there would be anything wrong with him playing a hero who has been traditionally light skinned though. Nobody seemed to worry about Nick Furys casting in the long run. Of course he could also play a fine villain. If youve seen Blood Diamond, then you know that the guy can do a mean angry face. And Id like to see that face crop up in a Marvel movie.
