8. Johnny Depp
I never thought it'd happen, but the world is starting to catch onto Johnny Depp's schtick, and it's a beautiful thing. I'm not debating whether or not Depp is a good actor, by the way - of course he is: he's Johnny Depp. But even hardcore Depp fans have noticed a trend emerging over recent years: quirky character, silly voice, same sort of weird mannerisms... it's the formula for pretty much every Depp-based character since, oh, the year 2003. A decade of this sh*t means people are a little bored with Johnny dressing up and prancing around, which was catastrophically proven when Disney put The Lone Ranger in cinemas and movie-goers said: "Nah, not really up for that one, actually." As the only movie to Depp's name this year, though, The Lone Ranger is a perfect summation of where this actor stands today. On very thin ice. He needs to step up his game. Look, I'm not saying that Johnny Depp has anything to worry about or that everyone dislikes him, but there does come a time in every actor's career when they need to look in the mirror and say to themselves: "No more funny wigs."
