10 Actors Who Will Definitely Win An Oscar One Day

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

Who else could it possibly be? The source of constant speculation and no shortage of internet memes, Leonardo DiCaprio is still waiting for that elusive Academy Award a full 20 years after his first nomination. Given his status as one of the finest talents of his generation as well as one of the biggest movie stars in the world, the 39 year-old's time will come. The question is when... Since making his big-screen debut 23 years ago in Critters 3, DiCaprio has evolved from prodigious child talent to respected dramatic actor, and one that isn't afraid to take on challenging roles. First nominated for Best Supporting Actor for What's Eating Gilbert Grape in 1994, the actor has since picked up three Best Actor nominations for The Aviator, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street, the latter of which also scored him a Best Picture nod for his role as producer.
His bravura, career-best turn in The Wolf of Wall Street seemed most likely to reward him with an Oscar but unfortunately he came up against the sheer power of the McConnaissance. DiCaprio has also excelled in Catch Me If You Can, Gangs of New York, The Departed, Inception and Django Unchained to name but a few to establish himself as one of the best in the business, and one day he will definitely land the big one. Although given his luck, it is more likely to come from his producing duties than anything in front of the camera.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
