6. Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington is one of Hollywood's most respected actors, and said accolade presumably stems from the fact that he commits to worthwhile projects and steers clear of arbitrary sequels for artistic reasons (or, at least, we hope that's why). So whereas there could have probably been follow-ups to movies like Inside Man, Washington has instead opted to spend his valuable time on a number of brilliant stand-alone projects. And in the process, of course, the man has racked up his fair share of Oscar nods. Interestingly, though, Washington has speculated on starring in a sequel to his most recent filmic venture, The Equalizer, which proved to be a surprise box office smash and has gifted the actor with a potential franchise in the vein of Liam Neeson's Taken series. We don't see it as particularly necessary; Denzel should try something new. If He Had To Make A Sequel? The Equalizer makes most sense, we guess, so let's go with that.
