10 Actors You Won't Believe Have Never Made A Sequel

7. Kevin Costner

"I'll never make a sequel," said Kevin Costner during an interview once, and - all things considered - he has since stuck to his guns in that regard. Despite being one of the biggest movie stars of the '90s and the lead in a whole bunch of blockbusters that could have very easily spawned sequels (Waterworld, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), Costner has avoided follow-ups... and is adamant that he will do so 'til the end of time. Costner has cited his opinion on sequels on a number of occasions: he doesn't like them. For all the flack that this actor gets for being "wooden" and "uninteresting," however, you can at least admire him for the integrity his shows in this regard. There were few actors operating on Costner's star level in the '90s who had the balls to turn down massive sequels (Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson), and yet he opted to do so. Props. If He Had To Make A Sequel? We wouldn't say no to a sequel (or prequel, even) to Open Range.
