10 Actors You Didn’t Realise Played Batman

8. Will Arnett - The LEGO Movie/ The Lego Movie Part 2, The LEGO Batman Movie

Okay, it's no secret Will Arnett has portrayed Batman (at least in Lego version). The Arrested Development star has donned the pixelated cowl in The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie, and The Lego Movie Part 2.

But Arnett is worth including since he's never credited enough. When people think of who played Batman, they picture Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, or Robert Pattinson. Hell, people envision Val Kilmer as the Caped Crusader before Arnett comes to mind.

But why is Arnett constantly discounted? Is it because he portrayed Batman in a comedic fashion? So did Adam West.

Is it because he didn't play the role in a live-action movie? Neither did Kevin Conroy, and he's regarded by many to be the definitive voice of Batman.

Was he bad in the role? Even though his character is compiled of Lego bricks, Arnett portrayed Batman with more conviction than George Clooney ever did.

Arnett definitely plays up the dark knight's sillier side but that doesn't change the fact that he never phones it in. Although The Lego Movie is hilarious from start to finish, there's no question that Will Arnett's Batman is the highlight.
