10 Actors You Forgot Were In HUGE Movies
3. Glenn Close - Guardians Of The Galaxy
Given that the upcoming Black Widow will be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 24th film and even the most modest entry into the franchise boasts a sprawling ensemble cast, there's no shame in forgetting some of the A-list faces who've come and gone over the years.
And though countless name actors have shown up for one-off appearances as minor heroes or villains, perhaps the most perplexingly forgettable major actor to appear in the MCU is none other than Glenn Close.
In Guardians of the Galaxy, seven-time Oscar-nominee Close plays Nova Prime, the leader of the Nova Corps, in a shockingly piecemeal role which, by Close's own admission, she only took for the money.
Considering that the MCU has given meaty roles to a bevy of A-listers like Robert Redford, Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett, William Hurt, and so on, it's quite baffling how small Nova Prime's role is in both the movie and the MCU as a whole.
Close's planned cameo for the sequel was ultimately scrapped, ensuring Nova Prime was an unceremonious quickie for Close, despite her enthusiasm to return - or at least her enthusiasm for a paycheck.
