Will.i.am was not the only prominent musician to feature in X-Men Origins: Wolverine then. The only difference with Troye Sivan is that he rose to prominence as a musician sometime after he featured in the film.

The singer portrayed Logan at the moment the character's mutant abilities activated and how he killed his father at the same time. Since depicting such a key moment in the history of such an iconic character, Sivan's biggest acting role has been in the three Spud movies, and since then music has become primarily what he's been known for.

Outside of his own personal work, Sivan has collaborated with the likes of Ariana Grande and Charli XCX, making his brief appearance in the X-Men franchise but a blip on his career path.
