Another actor that enjoyed their biggest success towards the tail-end of the 90s, things were looking up for Skeet Ulrich after he starred in critical and cult favorites like Scream, The Craft, As Good as It Gets and Ang Lee's Ride with the Devil before the turn of the millennium.

Then he sort of just dropped off the face of the planet completely, only appearing sporadically in a handful of projects over the next two decades before joining the cast of Riverdale in 2017. While that could mark the beginning of an unlikely comeback story on television, Ulrich is also getting his foot back in the door when it comes to the big screen.

He starred in 2017 horror Escape Room (not the one from last year that made over $150m box office), made-for-TV movie I Am Elizabeth Smart and little-seen satirical comedy Austin Found alongside Linda Cardellini and Craig Robinson, but his next movie will be his most high-profile role for decades as he suits up for Game of Thrones' director Miguel Sapochnik's sci-fi Bios, as part of a cast led by Tom Hanks.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
