10 Actors You Had No Idea Were Still Making Movies
6. Josh Hartnett
The strange thing about Josh Hartnett's career is that if he really wanted to be a huge star, he would have done it. In the first few years of his career he headlined box office hits The Faculty, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down and 40 Days and 40 nights, but decided to step out of the spotlight just when it seemed as though he was about to establish himself on the Hollywood A-list, reportedly turning down the roles of both Batman and Superman in the process.
He's worked steadily in the time since, most notably on television in the short-lived Penny Dreadful, but most of his movie projects have flown under the radar, and that seems to be just the way he wants it. How many people can really say they were aware of his recent performances in Turkish war drama The Ottoman Lieutenant, the feature-length adaptation of Japanese short film Oh Lucy! or straight-to-video crime thriller Inherit the Viper?
