Not the only career-destroying performance on this list, Chris O'Donnell's role as Robin (in Batman & Robin) basically ended the idea of him as a viable Hollywood actor. Like Elizabeth Berkley before him, it's not entirely O'Donnell's fault that Joel Schumacher's film was such a mess, but he's certainly a huge part of it, and without the charm and style and box-office draw of George Clooney, or the being-Arnold-Schwarzenegger of, well, being Arnold Schwarzenegger, O'Donnell is ultimately remembered as one of the worst things about the whole production. Again, it really doesn't help that O'Donnell's filmography pre-Batman is so tame. He's decent but wholly unforgettable in the bloated Scent of a Woman (and who's ever going to take anything away from that film other than - for better or worse - Al Pacino's scenery destroying, Oscar winning performance? If it was going to be anything at all, it would at least be the early Philip Seymour Hoffman sleazeball role that the film contains, but again, I digress), and other than that, only his other performance as Robin (in Batman Forever) is notable. He's not as bad in that one, but it's certainly not enough to save him from a career of derision.
