10 Actors You Never Knew Were Child Stars

7. Anton Yelchin

178_anton_yelchin_01 The guy who plays Chekov so perfectly in the Star Trek reboots has been one of Hollywood's most promising young actors for quite some time. Like, since he was 11. Back in 2001, he starred in Hearts in Atlantis, holding his own against the fantastic Anthony Hopkins. That same year, he was featured in the Morgan Freeman thriller Along Came a Spider where, as the son of the Russian heritage, he once again put his heritage to good use. As a teenager, he starred in films such as House of D and Alpha Dog, as well as appearing in a number of television shows. Nowadays, of course, he's a highly in-demand actor, having headlining roles in Star Trek, Fright Night, and Terminator Salvation.
