10 Actors You Never Noticed In Movies

2. Tilda Swinton - Trainwreck

Tilda Swinton is often called the female Gary Oldman - as in, she possesses the same uncanny ability to entirely disappear into just about character she plays, while harbouring a clear fondness for elaborate makeup transformations.

And her masterpiece in that regard is surely in Judd Apatow's 2015 comedy Trainwreck, where she plays the supporting role of Amy's (Amy Schumer) manic magazine editor boss Dianna.

The typically pale, short-haired Swinton is almost entirely unrecognisable here, sporting a deep tan, blonde hair, a ton of makeup on her face, and the sort of glitzy attire nobody would ever expect to see Swinton wearing.

Oh, and she's rocking a London-area accent for good measure.

Swinton was apparently given full control of the transformation by Apatow and Schumer - the latter of whom wrote the movie - and she clearly relished the opportunity to become a whole other person.

While Swinton's most radical transformations have generally attracted considerable headlines - namely turning into an old man in Suspiria - her jaw-dropping Trainwreck makeover isn't talked about nearly enough.
