10 Actors You Totally Forgot Starred In Horror Movies
8. Josh Brolin - Hollow Man
Long after he played the teenage Brand in The Goonies and way before he dominated Marvel as the purple-skinned titan, Thanos, Josh Brolin showed up in pretty much everything. During the 1990s and 2000s, he appeared in a couple of horror movies including Mimic, Planet Terror and Paul Verhoeven's remake of The Invisible Man, Hollow Man.
In the film, Kevin Bacon plays a molecular scientist called Sebastian Crane who has concocted a serum that can turn organic matter invisible. Believing the serum is ready for a human test subject, he injects him with it. When he realises the procedure can't be reversed, Sebastian has a mental breakdown and becomes psychotic.
One of the incidents that causes him to snap is when he learns his ex-girlfriend, Linda, who he works with, is sleeping with another work colleague, Max, who's portrayed by Josh Brolin.
Even though Brolin is a tremendous performer, he doesn't get a chance to show off what he can do in the role. He's just... kind of there. Ironically, Kevin Bacon is the only person who gives an excellent performance in the film... despite the fact you can't see him.
