2. Jessica Hynes

Mafalda Hopkirk of course appears in The Deathly Hallows as one of the Ministry employees that Harry, Ron and Hermione kock out and disguise themselves as to infiltrate the Ministry and recover the Horcrux necklace. She is played in that sequence by Sophie Thompson, who managed to capture something of Emma Watson's mannerisms wonderfully during those scenes.

Less well remembered is the fact that Hopkirk is actually played by another actor entirely when she appears earlier in the franchise. It is from her office that Harry receives his expulsion in The Order of The Phoenix for misuse of magic. She doesn't appear on screen, but we get to hear her voice emanate from the letter sent to Harry announcing his punishment, and that voice belongs to British comedy actor Jessica Hynes.

Hynes is best known for appearing in Shaun Of The Dead, Spaced and Doctor Who.
