5. Frank Dillane

If you're a fan of Fear The Walking Dead, you could be forgiven for believing that star Frank Dillane simply popped into existence specially for the show. Sure, he also appeared in Sense8 the same year he debuted in the AMC prequel show, but he arrived in the close-to-apocalyptic Los Angeles fully formed.

Only, he did have a past before Fear The Walking Dead, including appearing briefly in an excellent, chilling performance as a young Tom Riddle in The Half Blood Prince during the sequence showing Professor Slughorn unwittingly revealing the secret of Horcruxes to him.

Dillane showed such mastery for the chilling villain that it's a wonder he hasn't gone on to play more evil characters so far.
