Bradley Cooper's Oscar nominations haul is much larger than you would initially expect. In addition to his four nominations for acting, Cooper has accumulated nods for his writing and producing work that brings his total to a massive eight nominations.
His acting nods came for his work in Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, and A Star is Born but he is yet to achieve a win in any category. Cooper has been a consistent leading man for the better part of a decade and is clearly a Hollywood favourite as he continues to prove his worth both in front of and behind the camera.
His losses will ultimately come down to bad luck as there was always someone else that shone brighter in each race he's been a part of. Cooper is consistently raising his craft to new levels and if he collects too many more nominations without a win it'll start to look ridiculous so he can't keep coming up empty forever.
