10 Actors You Won’t Believe Don’t Have Oscars

2. Edward Norton

After coming up empty in the 90s despite starring in Fight Club and American History X, two of the most celebrated movies of the decade, it was concerning that apparently Edward Norton wasn€™t ever going to get his rightful Academy due.

Even without an award, he€™s remained relevant, although recent years have seen a resurgence of sorts for Norton. He stole the show as a thinly-veiled version of himself in Birdman and has found his comedic side by pairing with Wes Anderson. If he keeps giving his attention to films like these, with his talent, it€™s only a matter of time before something special clicks with viewers..

The real question is if he even cares. Norton, on top of being notoriously prickly to work with, has spoken out about the perceived monetization of the Oscars. So while he didn€™t go as far as Joaquin Phoenix did when he called the whole thing BS, his rough personality might keep the trophy out of his reach a little while longer.

Connor loves movies, comics, and TV, and is trying to write for people who feel the same way. When he's not sitting on the couch with his laptop, you might find him lying in his bed with his laptop.
