10 Actresses Who Can Play Thor On The Big Screen

6. A Super-Powered Model - Milla Jovovich

At the age of 38, model turned actress Milla Jovovich has already accumulated enough action movie experience to hold her own with the best in the business. Jovovich started her action career early, landing the role of Leeloo in the scifi action film The Fifth Element at the age of 22. The role of the genetically enhanced human weapon put Jovovich on the map and the former Vogue cover girl never looked back. Unlike some of the other actresses on our list, Jovovich has already starred in her own successful action franchise. In 2002, Jovovich played Alice in the video game adaptation Resident Evil. The hit film launched a series of sequels; each successive chapter saw Alice gain superhuman powers until she transformed into a full-fledged superhero in the third instalment. Jovovich would have no trouble adapting to Marvel€™s super-powered universe given her time on the Resident Evil franchise. Jovovich€™s prior experience playing a super-powerful heroine more than qualifies her for the role of Thor. Given that Resident Evil€™s fifth instalment is due out in 2016, Marvel can be certain that she can consistently deliver the goods across multiple sequels and crossovers. At this point, casting Jovovich would be a no-brainer.
