10 Aging Actors Who Could Totally Pull Off An Action Comeback

8. Jeff Bridges

Age: 65 Aged 65, Jeff Bridges is the oldest actor on this list. But seeing as 62-year-old Neeson plans to keep doing this for a few years yet, and considering Schwarzenegger's in the process of reclaiming his action star status aged 67, it seems nothing is impossible for veteran actors looking to make an action comeback. In a sense, Bridges has been attempting to stage a move into action movies since Iron Man in 2008 - it just happens Seventh Son, R.I.P.D. and Tron: Legacy all under-performed and didn't really connect with anyone. Bridges also wound up as a supporting character in all three, when by right such a force should be leading his own movies. As a sprightly and relatively youthful-looking OAP, not to mention a great, Oscar-winning actor, Bridges could easily convince as a member of the veteran action hero club. It'd be a far more dignified fate for an actor who hasn't had a real hit in years.
