10 All-New All-Different Marvel Ideas The MCU Should Use

8. Ms. Marvel

One of Marvel's breakout successes of the past few years has been the introduction of Kamala Khan. A teenage Muslim girl in Jersey, Kamala is an Inhuman who, after being exposed to the Terrigen Mists, discovers she possesses shapeshifting powers.

A noted superhero fangirl who routinely writes fanfic about Marvel's heroes, Kamala decides to take on the identity of Ms. Marvel, a title that once belonged to her idol, Carol Danvers, the current Captain Marvel.

Marvel has always done a pretty great job with teen heroes and where Spider-Man is a great place to begin, Ms. Marvel is an awesome second step. Not only would Ms. Marvel bring more diversity in a very white, male-centric MCU, but she also has connections to numerous other films.

She idolizes Captain Marvel, she's an Inhuman so that connects her to both Agents of SHIELD and the upcoming (possibly?!) Inhumans film, and in the comics, she's also been a member of the Avengers and has a friendship with Spider-Man (granted it's the Miles Morales version, but we can easily swap in Peter Parker given that they'd be the same age in the MCU).

Whether as a film franchise or TV series (either broadcast or Netflix or Hulu), Ms. Marvel would bring a fresh perspective to the world of cinematic superheroes.
