10 All-Star Cast Whodunnits To Watch Before Knives Out

Based on the board game of the same name, it was one of the better adaptations based on one and has a cult following to show for it. If viewed today, it is brilliant how the movie was adapted so well from its source.

There is a reason why movies based on board games generally have a flimsy storyline considering how difficult it is to churn a good yarn from them. But then, Clue had an unfair advantage in this regard. It had the entire whodunnit genre for reference and managed to seamlessly subvert the rules of the genre while lovingly giving tribute to it.

The star cast here looks like they are having loads of fun. Especially Tim Curry and his wide grin having a whale of a time playing the butler who might have done it this time. The multiple endings might seem like a coup out for some. But it does add to the overall charm of the movie.
