10 Amazing Films That Get Better The More You Think About Them
7. Enemy
Speaking of movies that f**k with your mind, next on our list we have the worst movie for arachnophobes ever (next to Arachnophobia, of course), Enemy.
While watching a movie, a college professor notices a shockingly familiar sight on screen... himself. As he dives into the mystery of this strange doppelganger, he finds himself spiralling down a rabbit hole made of equal parts madness and mayhem.
Movies are not puzzles to be solved, they are stories to be experienced. If you want a puzzle, buy a Rubik's Cube. That being said, there are few films in recent memory more enigmatic than Enemy. It's the kind of movie that when you're watching it, you're so flabbergasted by its insanity that you can't even take a second to reflect on what you're seeing. Afterward however, that's a different story.
Enemy burrows itself into your brain, begging you, no, rather driving you to pick it apart piece by piece in order to figure out the truth. The movie in of itself is incredible, but it's the aftertaste that really has a kicked to it. Horrifying and haunting, Enemy is a film that, once its grabbed you, will not let you go.
