10 Ant-Man Trailer Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed
10. Prison Break
The trailer opens with a scene rather unlike any of the other Marvel productions so far...well, except Guardians Of The Galax, which also began with its protagonists in jail. The Kiln was pretty and space-based, though, whilst the jail Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) spends some time locked up in tragically more terran in nature. Looks familiar, though... Lang's the second Ant-Man proper in the comic books whole arc is that he was an electronics expert who had to turn his skills to burglary when he couldn't get a proper job with which to support his family. During his time in jail, he studied further and eventually got a job with Stark Industries after being let out. A cameo by Robert Downey Jr could very well happen in the film, but he's absent in the trailer. What is very apparent, though, is that this particular penitentiary might be one eagle-eyed MCU fans have seen before: it looks a lot like Seagate Prison, where Iron Man 3's Trevor Slattery ended up in the short film All Hail The King, and is also where Luke Cage was locked up for a spell.
