10 Army Of The Dead Easter Eggs You Totally Missed
9. Richard Cheese's Cameo
Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine is a comedic cover/lounge band based in Las Vegas and their style is reminiscent of the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Tony Bennett.
The four-man band has been active since 2000 and in that period has covered songs such as Creep (Radiohead), Crazy (Britney Spears) and Baby Got Back (Sir Mix a Lot). The band has been featured in Zack's work before and even performed their covers in films such as Dawn of the Dead and Batman v Superman. So it was only fitting that they appeared in the director's Vegas-based film.
Their version of Elvis Presley's Viva Las Vegas plays in the film's opening credits, and its breezy feel serves as a wild contrast to the carnage taking place on screen. For added effect, there is a zombified Elvis impersonator casually sauntering around, tying the admittedly catchy tune to the onscreen chaos .
