7. Walton Goggins - Ant-Man & The Wasp
Walton Goggins is one of the greatest character actors working today, having made a name for himself with his sublime work on hit TV shows The Shield and Justified, and enjoying fruitful collaborations with Quentin Tarantino on Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.
it was just a matter of time before Kevin Feige and co. turned their attention to such a brilliantly dynamic actor, and so many were excited to see him cast as the villainous criminal Sonny Burch in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Yet for as many excellent antagonists as Goggins has played throughout his career, Burch sadly isn't one of them, ending up nothing more than a generic, cartoonish baddie with uninteresting motives and an even less interesting sense of character.
Though director Peyton Reed has hinted that Burch could return in the third Ant-Man film, it'd be mightily optimistic to expect a personality transplant for him at this stage.
Goggins deserves so, so much better.
