3. Scott Adkins - Doctor Strange
Though Scott Adkins may not be an Oscar-worthy actor, he is undeniably one of Hollywood's greatest martial artists working today, having made a name for himself in the Undisputed and Ninja franchises.
Adkins has appeared in a number of big-budget productions such as The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty, The Expendable 2, and yes, Doctor Strange.
Adkins was cast to play Lucian, one of Kaecilius' (Mads Mikkelsen) zealots, and though he does take part in a few brief action beats opposite the Sorcerer Supreme (Benedict Cumberbatch) - most memorably an astral projection fight - ultimately he gets barely any time at all to show off what he can really do.
It's tough to see the point in hiring one of the industry's go-to martial artists only to hand him a few sparring beats that fail to make the most of his considerable talents.
