9. Something Left, Something Taken

Directors: Ru Kuwahata, Max Porter (USA) This fuzzy-felt, stop-motion masterpiece follows Ru and Max, a couple holidaying in San Francisco, who believe they have climbed into the wrong taxi. Max, the true crime aficionado, is immediately suspicious. Why are there gloves and rope tucked away by the back seat? Why does their driver seem so creepy? And why does he know so much about the Zodiac Killer? It isn't long before the pair let their imaginations run wild, conjuring up all manner of grisly outcomes. But, lucky for them, Max also happens to know a thing or two about forensic science, and so fires them onto a darkly humorous - but hugely informative- digression (think CSI crossed with Sesame Street) that might just save their lives. Or, at the very least, help the police to find their bodies... Fascinating, funny and full of lessons you hope you€™ll never need.
