9. Billy Hitchcock - Final Destination
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLRzXoCCnp8 Seann William Scott might be great fun as Stifler in the American Pie movies, but he's also had his fair share of performances where he's just an irritating scrote, and this is arguably felt no better than in Final Destination. The film is a fun horror B-movie, and thus somewhat urges us to root for the killer - that is, Death - as "he" stalks the film's idiotic, usually obnoxious, nubile young teens. Seann William Scott's Billy Hitchcock - we see what they did there with the name - is the first film's comic relief douchebag character, who proves himself to be a pretty selfish, worthless, loser, screaming at the other characters that he's not going to let them drag him down. However, the joke's on him in the end, as a passing train runs over a piece of metal lying on the track, deflecting it into Billy's face, slicing it in half and sending part of it falling to the floor. It's great because it's not only ironic considering what Billy said, but it's an instance of a film providing complete audience satisfaction; we hate the guy, and then he gets a hilariously over-the-top, ludicrously violent death.
