10 Awesome Deaths Of Annoying Movie Characters

4. Carter Burke - Aliens

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkPgVjei7nI&t=2m53s There are few characters in all of cinema who evoke as much ire as Carter Burke, the wimpy corporate douche who is Ripley's frequent bureaucratic foil in James Cameron's masterful Aliens. Sitting there so confidently in his high-falutin suit, fielding out his legal jargon, Burke is keen to blame the Nostromo's destruction on Ripley, who of course spent the entire course of the first film de-infesting it of aliens, eventually electing to activate its self-destruction capability. It's not just Burke's clinically cold, legal detachment that makes him so horrible, though, it's the fact that he's a charlatan and a coward rolled into one. He sends the colonists of LV-426 there knowing full well that there's a good chance they'd be killed by the Xenomorphs, and then there's his heinous plot to get both Ripley and Newt impregnated with Xenomorph embryos by sealing them in a room with some facehuggers. He has little regard for human life, and the only thing he seems to be concerned with is dollar value, so it's totally awesome when it all catches up to him and a Xenomorph ends up having him for dinner.
