8. Sgt. Candy - Terminator 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kayFrIR-Qfw One of the most curious aspects of the Terminator films is that, given how the robots are supposed to be inconspicuous, they happen to resemble hulking, gigantic musclemen who speak in a thick Austrian accent. This deleted scene from the largely underwhelming third Terminator film goes a way to explain this, if in somewhat tongue-in-cheek fashion. As it turns out, the original T800 spoke with a hick/redneck accent (with some pretty awesome dubbing over Arnie's voice here), and one of the board executors in this clip remarks that he's not sure about it, to which one of the demonstrators remarks, "We can fix it", dubbed over with Arnie's Austrian accent. It's a cheeky way of saying, "Well, his original accent was a lot more ridiculous, so just relax". Granted, that still doesn't really explain why he has to look so huge, because let's be honest, Arnie would stick out like a sore thumb just about anywhere he went. While it's a goofy scene, it's actually kind of clever, and given how lame-brained a lot of the film's humour was, this would have been a welcome addition, as well as provide a little more food-for-thought for viewers.
