When Bruce Banner first showed up at the Battle of New York, the Chitauri invasion was already well under way and he was a welcome sight for the other Avengers in spite of his previous antics on board the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. Banner arrived on a moped as one of the Chitauri giant creatures approached his team-mates. Whilst walking towards it, Captain America advised the timid scientist that now might be a good time to get angry. He responded with thats my secret Cap Im always angry and proceeded to kill the massive creature with a single punch. It was a truly awesome display of power, as those things were heavily armoured and absolutely huge - it really emphasised just how strong the Hulk is.
