10 Awesome Horrors To Watch This Halloween

8. Saw (series)

Do you want to play a game? This sinister and somewhat rhetoric question was first posed to us in 2004, with James Wan's Saw being the first in the series following a short film of the same name a year earlier. Following "Jigsaw", a murderous serial killer who is offended when called a serial killer, this film gave birth to the "Torture Porn" franchise, but also explores deeper issues such as morality and cause and effect. Each victim is lured into a series of traps and must learn something about themselves or make a sacrifice (usually by means of losing an extremity or two) or face certain death. There were eventually seven films in the series, with 2010's Saw 3D being the last offering, as well as two video games and even a theme park ride at Thorpe Park.
