7. Hostel (series)
Another addition to the aforementioned "torture porn" series of films, Jay Hernandez' 2005 'Hostel' film made us reach for the sick bags. This film centres around the oddly named "Dutch Businessman" antagonist as he kidnaps and then tortures to death a group of friends. There's more blood, guts and gore than your local butchers shop, and the fact that the opening hour or so is practically a porn film (forget the "torture" part of the genre this time) and it appeals to, ahem, a more younger audience, I guess. Still worth a watch this Halloween, as are the films two sequels.
