The Loki series featured a bunch of wacky alternate versions of the God of Mischief, but for a show all about the craziness of alternate timelines, it was noticeably light on multiversal cameos from the MCU's many familiar faces.

After all, it would've been easy to slot in a random Peter Quill or Thor variant in the background of a shot, and back when concept art for the series was being drawn up, the artists had something like that in mind.

More specifically, concept art of the TVA's processing area shows a Rocket Raccoon variant stood in line, waiting to stand trial for his crimes.

In the finished show, this processing area is largely empty, and that's because the COVID-19 pandemic forced director Kate Herron to strip the scene down. Had the pandemic not been a factor, this room would've been filled with characters referencing both the comics and the wider MCU - including, potentially, everyone's favourite tech-savvy fuzzball. And who wouldn't want to see that?

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
