The Lego Movie is packed full of amazing voice performances, though the winner for me has to be Will Arnett's performance as a very douchey yet hilarious version of Batman. Whether it's his relationship with Wyldstyle, his own blend of music (he's an artist, don'cha know?), or the absurd number of one-liners he comes out with ("He's the Hero you deserve"), Arnett delivers it all in a hilariously gruff tone that sends up Christian Bale's rather controversial vocal intonation. Arnett also does a great job distinguishing Bruce Wayne's voice during his brief appearance in the movie. In many ways, Batman is the feather in the movie's cap, because given how so many people have seen Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, it's almost impossible not to laugh at this send-up of that dead-serious interpretation.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
