10 Awesome Moments From The Lego Movie

4. The Ghost Of Vitruvius

Morgan Freeman was perfectly cast as Vitruvius, a wizard who is basically a mixture of God, Gandalf and Morpheus, and who foresees a prophecy in which the Special will use the Piece of Resistance to stop the Kragle from causing mass destruction. Mid-way through the movie, Vitruvius ends up being killed by Lord Business (who uses a quarter to decapitate him), dying and becoming a ghost, allowing him to float around, with a CGI string added for extra hilarious measure. The string combined with the fact that Vitrivius now has a classic ghost sheet over his regular body makes this one of the movie's more outrageously funny moments, a testament to the inventiveness of children, all the more so when we realise quite what's going on in the final 15 minutes...
