Outside of the news, he loves poetry, a glass of scotch, and his best friend, Baxter. The Border Terrier is Rons partner in crime and stands devotedly by his side. Not even the love of Rons life, Veronica Corningstone, could come between him and his beloved dog. Baxters apparent death after being punted off the San Diego Bridge by Jack Black confined Ron in a glass case of emotion, and he spiralled into a deep depression. However, Baxter is more resilient than we all thought, and he survives the fall and travels across the nation to find his way back to Ron. If youre the kind of person who finds themselves in constant battles with natures apex predators, hes the dog you want by your side. Hes Rons little gentleman; a suave, classy animal who will always be there if you need him, whether it be an understanding shoulder to lean on, or youve jumped into a grizzly bear exhibit and need bailing out. How many other animals out there have gone toe to toe with a Great White Shark and won? If he was around during Jaws attacks on Amity Island, it would have been a completely different story. Plus he ate a whole wheel of cheese! Thats amazing!
