9. Casino Royale - Madagascar Murder
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZxNbAwY_rk The opening chase scene in Casino Royale is one of the best set pieces in the entire Bond canon, but it also proves pretty troubling once you look at it a little closer. Once Bond chases his free-running foe across a construction yard, things get hairy when they begin climbing a giant metal structure, causing the free-runner to dropkick one blowtorch-waving worker to the floor, at which point he explodes, while his (former) co-workers run away as fast as possible. What's disastrous isn't his demise, but a) the various debris that is sent sky-rocketing into the air, sure to kill a few innocent workers and b) the poor guy you can spot in the next shot jumping from the structure, quite possibly to his death. Though Bond can't be blamed solely for this one, doesn't it seem rather irresponsible to ruin this perfectly orderly construction site? Oh, that and shooting a propane tank at the end of the scene, which probably kills around a dozen people aside from the target, completely unnecessarily.
