The chances of a mistake pulling your attention away from the action during a movie scene are undoubtedly higher when said sequence is, well, not very noteworthy.

Take the hilarious air sweeping extra in Quantum of Solace, for example. Your eye immediately wanders to the miming legend who wasn't supposed to be the moment's focal point because Daniel Craig is simply plonked on a bike looking broody amidst a crowd of far more interesting people.

However, even some of the finest, most entertaining and mesmerising scenes ever to go down on the big-screen have contained the odd mistake over the years. You were probably just too damn engaged in the tense back-and-forth, mind-blowing action, or jaw-dropping twist to notice the blunder in question.

And in some cases, you've likely sat through these utterly captivating exchanges and instantly iconic occurrences on multiple occasions without ever spotting a blatant error staring you right in the face!

So, with that in mind, prepare to have some truly awesome moments of cinema slightly tainted by everything from clueless crew members spoiling a shot, to artificial lavatories shattering the comical illusion.

10. We've Got A Disappearing Bag Here! (Jurassic Park)

The Departed
Universal Pictures

Early on in Steven Spielberg's classic dino adventure that is Jurassic Park, folks are introduced to the utter slime-ball that is disgruntled computer programmer Dennis Nedry.

In this instantly quotable back-and-forth, the loud-mouth Jurassic Park employee pokes fun at Dr. Lewis Dodgson's attempts to keep a low profile whilst bribing the former to steal unfertilised dino embryos from Dr. John Hammond.

But look a little closer in the moments that follow Nedry being handed a bag full of cash to stash some of the dino DNA and you'll spot that Dodgson isn't the only thing we've got here!

As Hammond's rival shows off the modified Barbasol shaving cream can his new associate will be using to transport the viable embryos, the aforementioned bag goes from being underneath Nedry's arm one second to completely invisible the next.

Even thirty years on from Nedry's first cackle of joy at the reveal of this sneaky container, many still make it through this scene without spotting the all-important cash suddenly going walkabouts.

Perhaps Nedry's shirt simply had a similar secret compartment used for storing big bags of dirty money.

In reality, though, Spielberg was likely just hoping you'd be too distracted by Wayne Knight's deliciously annoying performance to notice this silly oversight.
