7. The Foam Facade Is Revealed Mid Toilet Fight (Liar Liar)

There's nothing quite like the sight of Jim Carrey going full-Carrey in the middle of a comedy classic.

And his absolutely chaotic work as Fletcher Reede throughout 1997's Liar Liar contained some of his finest side-splitting explosions ever, with his battles with a pen and a toilet seat still eliciting chuckles to this day.

When it comes to that latter lavatory meltdown, however, there's actually a rather brilliant illusion that is accidentally shattered once you take a closer look at the mayhem.

As Reede attempts to beat himself up to the point where it looks like he can't continue on in court, he proceeds to squish his own head between a toilet seat and the bowl.

But rather than use the real deal and risk injuring their leading man, it appears the prop department created a foam replacement that can only really be clocked when you're closely analysing this portion of the self-beatdown.

Clearly, the folks who helped craft this memorable few minutes of physical comedy were convinced Carrey's hilarious antics would be too enthralling to take your eyes off. If you do stray away from his elastic face for a second within the cubicle, though, this foam toilet truth is impossible to miss.
