10 Awesome Movies With Unforgivable Plot Holes

4. Shawshank Redemption (1994)

It is with a heavy heart that one criticises this film. It is a beautiful, emotional and fundamental piece of cinema that is rightly considered one, of not the, greatest film of all time. However, it does have one moment which beggars belief. Andy Dufresne has apparently disappeared from his prison cell, until the evil Warden tears a poster of Racquel Welch from the wall to reveal the great big gaping entrance to Andy's escape tunnel. However, all four corners of the poster are pinned down to the wall, which, when you look at the size of the tunnel and poster, would have been literally impossible to do from the inside. Sorry.
