10 Awesome New Characters To Expect In MCU Phase 4

10. Quasar

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands in to the cosmos, a great character to add to the franchise is undoubtedly the Wendell Vaughn version of Quasar - and there's a pretty good chance he'll be added in Phase 4. Vaughn would be easy to integrate as he is a character whose origins lie in the S.H.I.E.L.D. academy - S.H.I.E.L.D. being an organisation who are obviously already established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. S.H.I.E.L.D. have in their possession a lot of objects of power and one of those objects could be revealed to be the Quantum Bands. In the comics, the bands went out of control when a test pilot tried to use them but Vaughn put them on when A.I.M. (another organisation already established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) launched an assault on the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility in which they were housed. He proved highly adept at using them, thanks to his flexible will, and uses the energy constructs and powers of the bands to repel A.I.M. He then when on to work with the Avengers and in space with the Annihilators, as well as being head of security on Project: Pegasus - an initiative that has already been shown to exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
