8. Angela

Angela is a character who starred in Image comic books for twenty years, having first appeared back in 1993 as a supporting character and antagonist of Spawn. However, in 2013, Marvel purchased her and she made her first appearance as a Marvel character at the end of Age of Ultron, after the time-altering ventures of Wolverine dragged her into a new reality. Angered by being pulled out of her own reality, she targeted Earth to vent her frustrations, but she was intercepted by the Guardians of the Galaxy and, ultimately, ended up joining them. It was also later revealed that she was the daughter of Odin and Frigga, making her Thor's sister and Loki's stepsister. While you shouldn'tt expect her to appear in the Age of Ultron movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems strange that Marvel would purchase her and then give her associations with Thor, Loki and the Guardians of the Galaxy without having her potential inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in mind. Expect Angela to arrive in Phase 4 and add another welcome female warrior to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
