The historical epic draws from many Shakespearean plays and characters, with Pattinson starring as The Dauphin, otherwise known as Louis, Duke of Guyenne. Writer Joel Edgerton has described the film as "Game of Thrones meets Shakespeare."

With a cast stacked with stars like Pattinson, Edgerton, Timothee Chalamet and Ben Mendolsohn, it's likely the film will provide some sort of visual spectacle and another unique performance to add to Pattinson's list.
