10 Awesome Ways Agents Of SHIELD Might Link To Avengers: Age Of Ultron

1. The Synthetic Man

Vision is set to be a key character in Avengers: Age of Ultron, with Paul Bettany expanding on his role as JARVIS to become the android and an important member of the Avengers in his own right. The character has been hinted at since 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, when the Synthetic Human was shown at the Stark Expo during World War II. In the comic books, the Synthetic Human went on to become the first Human Torch who, in turn, went on to form the basis of Vision's body. Age of Ultron is set to come about thanks to Tony Stark reviving a "dormant peacekeeping program" which - rumours suggest - began with the creation of the Synthetic Human in question. With that in mind, and with Stark's father's links to S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson and his allies will undoubtedly have access to files on the Synthetic Human (and maybe even to the android itself). The events of Age of Ultron could lead S.H.I.E.L.D. to bust it out, either for use in the fight against Ultron's army or for study in order to help them play their part in the fight against the villain - and that would be awesome. It certainly makes sense that Coulson would refer to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s part in the origins of the peacekeeping program in question and want to look into it (indeed, Coulson already utilises technology that was first shown at the Expo, as his car - Lola - is an evolution of a flying car Stark had on display at that very show). So there you have it - ten awesome ways Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might link to Avengers: Age of Ultron. Did you enjoy this article? Do you agree with any of the potential ideas in this list?
