Ben Urich is an investigative journalist who is a prominent supporting character in Daredevil comic books and he is set to appear in the television series, played by Vondie Curtis-Hall. Interestingly, Urich is also a prominent supporting character in the Spider-Man comic books, working for publications such as The Daily Bugle, so could he appear in the planned Spider-Man movie or indeed any movie in which Spider-Man appears? It's certainly a distinct possibility and it would undoubtedly be a clear way to link the show to the movies. Urich is a really cool character who, as well as being a journalist, is as hard as nails, knows that Daredevil is really Matt Murdock, has worked alongside Peter Parker, and has exposed the secret identities of both Kingpin and the Green Goblin.
