6. Regenerating From A Single Drop Of Blood
In X-Men Annual #11, an evil alien named Horde kidnaps the X-Men and takes them to a fortress known as The Citadel (It's not really a big deal though, the X-Men get kidnapped a lot). Horde forces the team to act as his cannon fodder, fighting through The Citadel's defences to reach the powerful crystal hidden at its centre.
One by one, the X-Men are taken out by the deathtraps until just Wolverine is left. Battered and broken, he crawls towards the crystal, only for Horde to stab him with a metal spike and tear out his heart, killing him (and adding Horde to the still very small list of people who have beaten Wolverine in a fight).
However, turns out Logan's healing factor is coded into every cell of his body, including the single drop of blood that splashes onto the crystal. The power of the crystal temporarily gives Logan's powers a huge boost and he is able to grow an entire body from that blood drop and his overwhelming desire to live, before resurrecting the other X-Men and ageing Horde into dust.
Wolverine then went back home, had a beer and proceeded to never to be bothered by the existential question whether or not growing a whole new body and mind made him a different person.
